Billy's background was originally in retail and he then moved on to property development and investment. He has owned and run many successful businesses during his career, particularly in the property industry but due to personal experiences, he developed an interest in homecare. Friends and family who had needed domiciliary care encouraged him to enter the domiciliary care industry. Billy knew this was an area out of his comfort zone and previous experience but once he teamed up with Westwood Homecare, he believed this was a business that could be developed and improved with the right team, proper investment, hard work and dedication. Having founded and built successful businesses in the past, Billy researched the industry and began to recruit experienced specialists in the field to create a solid infrastructure which would enable us to develop and improve the services we offer. In addition, Billy has invested heavily in the business and continues to do so as he is committed to providing the best domiciliary care for people in the local community.   Billy created a new partnership with a highly experienced management team and believes that the combination of his business know-how and the experienced homecare team has enabled Westwood Homecare to go from strength to strength. As the business has grown, Billy has used his knowledge of the property industry to source ideally located offices in Stockport, Bolton and Manchester, enabling Westwood to provide homecare throughout Greater Manchester and the NorthWest Billy also supports our collaboration with ‘Feed My City’, a small group of volunteers who provide free meals to vulnerable people in Manchester and Farnworth. Homecare is an industry that often does not receive the appreciation and support that it deserves, however Mohammed understands the need for this industry and the importance of having good, quality care. “I am passionate about homecare and I enjoy giving back to the community.”
